The Greater Pensacola Aquatic Club (GPAC) Swim School is designed to teach children the skills necessary to become more comfortable in the water and more proficient in swimming.

GPAC Swim School has three levels from beginner to pre competitive.

GPAC Swim School offers classes at a variety of start times to fit most schedules.

GPAC Swim School classes are grouped into individual sessions. Each session is pre-paid.

GPAC Swim School curriculum has been designed as an educational and fun experience for children. The program was also designed for children to progress though the school at his or her own rate.

Each child must be evaluated prior to entering GPAC Swim School in order to be placed into the proper class. Evaluations are by appointment only. Please contact the GPAC office to schedule an evaluation appointment.

Beginner Level:

Beginning swimmers with little or no experience or familiarity with the water. Swimmers will learn the skills necessary to be water safe. Emphasis is on crawl stroke and proper kicking.

Classes are twice per week:

Monday / Wednesday or

Tuesday / Thursday

Fees: $75 / 4 week session

$55 USA Swimming annual registration fee/ includes a GPAC t-shirt

Intermediate Level:

For ages 5 and up who have completed the requirements of Beginner Level. Swimmers will learn skills to perform freestyle, backstroke and butterfly.

Classes are twice per week:

Monday / Wednesday or

Tuesday / Thursday

Fees: $75 / 4 week session

$55 USA Swimming annual registration fee / includes a GPAC t-shirt

Pre-Competitive Level:

For ages 6 and up who have completed the requirements of the Intermediate Level. Swimmers will learn breaststroke and the skills needed to swim multiple lengths of the pool.

Classes are two times per week:

Monday / Wednesday or

Tuesday / Thursday

Fees: $75 / 4 week session
